I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent pistol class last Saturday.  I was very impressed and thankful that your class focused on practical information and techniques and had no "fluff" what so ever. I look forward to taking more classes from you in the future.

We just got home from a wonderful class with Mr. Tom Trask, who was the instructor for the Introduction to Defensive Rifle course.

For my fiancee, this class was her introduction to professional firearms training that actually means a damn. Mr. Trask helped her get acclimated to shooting a rifle and treated her just like anyone else in the class. She appreciated it greatly, and she couldn't stop talking about the course on the drive home today.

For me, the class served several purposes:

1. It was my first "real" training with rifles, even though the material was basic.
2. It validated that the concepts I've learned in my other SI courses transition very nicely. I am anxious to take more rifle courses in the future (hint).
3. And lastly, it proved to me that SI's system of shooting runs not only across different tools, but that the SI system of teaching spans different instructors. I love the friendly but firm, systematic but not dogmatic, practical way of presenting material to open minds. We were spoken to like real human beings, not as second class citizens because we didn't come from LEO or military backgrounds.

A big thanks today for Mr. Trask for being a great instructor, and to the rest of Suarez International for great curriculum that is accessible for everyone and anyone.
